All right. I know a ton of you have ~wikicon added as a friend, and since I'm in control, I'm going to use this resource for my own means! So, two orders of business:
First of all, I'd love to know how some of you came up with your icon journal name! Especially some of the ones from fandoms I don't recognize, or just nonsensical words! So, comment here, and let me know :)
Secondly, I'm trying to make a list of all the redhead icon sets. However, going through all 19,000 icon sets would take me forever. I mean, it took forever just to get them added, nonetheless re-check them all for red hair. So! What I am asking you to do, my wikicon friends, is to comment to THIS POST with all the redheads you know of. From one movie redheads, to lifelong gingers, photoshopped carrot tops to slightly reddish auburn hair. I want them all. Personally, I think this list will be a resource just as great as the memories of ~wikicon can be.

what is this?
an icon directory.
i roleplay, and sometimes, there's a pb you just want to use, but cannot find icons for. sure, ~find_icons is a really great help, but sometimes there's a set that no one seems to know about or mention. you find it later, and grumble that you wish you'd had it when you were still playing that character!
so i decided to archive all the journal icons i can find. ~iconwatch tried to do something similar, but it's been a long time since they updated their journal, and i'm a complete neurotic, so i had to do it my own way.
i don't have an icon journal, so i'm not trying to promote myself. i just thought this would be helpful to a lot of people, mostly myself.
note: if your journal has fewer than five posts, i've archived you, but not added you to the list. you can request to be added if you add more posts later.
most iconned male : jensen ackles, 98 entries
most iconned female : leighton meester, 78 entries
as of 1.29.10

as of 2.6.10 i am currently up to date on archived journals.
also, robins & musicaal (and perhaps a few others) have recently closed their icon journals, i cannot remove their links from the memories. just know that the links are now dead.
i am missing the entries from 5.24 - 5.28. if you updated then, please send me the link to the entry, or just notify me that you have posts during those days.
because of the nature of the project, i will not be doing affiliates; it would be redundant to link to a journal twice. but i do appreciate being linked to. |
